Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Tuesday, 24 May.
Nohan Kenneh departs
Leeds United academy graduate Nohan Kenneh has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Scottish Premier League side Hibernian. Kenneh’s current deal at Elland Road is set to expire this summer, but after almost eight years at the club, has decided to move on.
The 19-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Easter Road and is likely to receive a greater amount of first-team opportunities. Kenneh featured several times on the bench for Leeds this season but was never handed his senior debut despite receiving a yellow card in the win at Wolves in March following the wild celebrations after the injury-time winner.

On his exit, he wrote this on Twitter: “Still can’t believe am writing this…but after nearly 8 years at @leedsunited, my time here has come to an end. I have had so many great experiences that will with live me forever.”
Aaronson fit
Brenden Aaronson is set to be Leeds United's first signing of the summer after the Whites secured a third season in the Premier League after a dramatic final day at Brentford. Victor Orta made multiple bids for the American in January but RB Salzburg were determined not to let him leave ahead of the Champions League knockout tie against Bayern Munich, where he picked up an assist in the first-leg.
However, the Athletic have reported a £22million offer has now been accepted by Salzburg. That means Jesse Marsch has the first piece of the puzzle when it comes to moving the side more towards the style of football that he wants the side to play.
During his tenure at the club, Marsch has spoken on several occasions about the fact that his team hadn't been able to move closer towards his tactical style. Leeds manager suggested that was due to the high-stress situation of a relegation battle and with many of the players so used to playing in Marcelo Bielsa's unique style, having done so for several seasons.
Raphinha quality
Those that questioned Raphinha’s commitment to the Leeds United cause in recent months were shut down emphatically at the Brentford Community Stadium. The Brazil international won and scored the penalty that set the Whites on their way to a famous 2-1 victory and was at the heart of the post-match celebrations.
The outburst of emotion that he paired with his unbelievably calmly converted spot kick left no doubt as to how devoted he is to the club. Talk about a potential departure will continue to rumble on but he couldn’t have done much more to help the Whites get over the line.
It is worth remembering just how good he was in the first half of the season as he single-handedly dragged Leeds to a number of points with his trickery and his efficiency in the final third. The fact that a slight drop-off in form combined with the timing of the rumours of a potential summer move to Barcelona was purely coincidental.
