Leeds United will be looking to strengthen their chances of staying in the Premier League when they travel to 18th-place Watford in what is a pivotal encounter towards the bottom of the division. The Whites currently sit eight points above the Hornets in the table - but a win for the home side could bring Leeds right back into danger.
Jesse Marsch's team extended their unbeaten run to three matches with a well-earned 1-1 draw against Southampton on Saturday. Jack Harrison gave the Whites the lead, poking home from close-range, before James Ward-Prowse equalised after curling home a delightful free-kick.
Meanwhile, Watford kicked-off the weekend when they travelled up to title-chasing Liverpool, and although they came away with nothing, it was a performance to be pleased about. Roy Hodgson's side limited The Reds to few clear-cut chances and were undone by two defensive errors as Diogo Jota and Fabinho sealed the win at Anfield.

In fact, Leeds have won just one of their last five visits to Watford dating back to 2010. They have lost three of those matches, including a thumping 4-1 defeat in August 2014 when the Whites were in the Championship.
The last time the Whites won at Watford was a 2-1 success on the final day of the 2012/13 campaign, with Dominic Poleon and Ross McCormack scoring which earned Hull City automatic promotion in the meantime. The most previous win before that was a 1-0 victory in 2010 as Richard Naylor struck on Leeds' return to the second-tier.
A 1-0 defeat in the FA Cup fifth round was the last time Leeds actually played at Vicarage Road. It was a disappointing result for the Whites, who were vying for a spot in the quarter-final for the first time in 10 years.
In total, the two sides have played each-other 12 times at Watford, with the Hornets coming out on top five times, while Leeds have won three games in this fixture. There has been four draws since the first meeting back on February 11, 1989, with fixtures in Division Two, League Cup, Championship and the FA Cup.
