United States interim boss Anthony Hudson has revealed that Leeds United midfielder Weston McKennie has been hit with fever while on international duty.
McKennie has played an important role in helping the United States book their place in the CONCACAF Nations League semi-finals.
The 24-year-old scored twice in a 7-1 demolition of Grenada, before providing an assist for Ricardo Pepi's winning goal in the 1-0 win over El Salvador on Monday.

McKennie threaded a sublime 40-yard pass into the path of Pepi, who applied a deft finish over the onrushing El Salvador goalkeeper Mario Martinez.
However, despite his heroics on the pitch, Hudson confirmed that the Juventus loanee had been suffering with flu during the second game in Orlando.
“I think he had a little bit of a fever tonight,” Hudson said in his post-match press conference. “Coming off, I went to give him a hug and I just refrained myself from getting anywhere near him because he’s having some struggles.
“He was struggling a little bit tonight, flu-wise, but he did it.”
Javi Gracia will be hoping that McKennie can shake off any lingering illness doubts in order for him to feature against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
