Leeds United have matched a 76-year record for their fewest number of league victories during a 20-game run following their 1-0 defeat to Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Illan Meslier's misjudgement saw Seamus Coleman's speculative effort sail past the Leeds goalkeeper to ensure Everton claimed all three points in a vital relegation six-pointer. The Whites could have moved four points clear of the Toffees with a win, but instead find themselves just one point above last-placed Southampton and two behind Sean Dyche's squad.
You have to go back to November for Leeds' last Premier League victory, a 4-3 win vs Bournemouth, with the game prior seeing nthe club stun Liverpool at Anfield and claim all three points.

And heading into the World Cup break, Leeds so nearly made it three wins on the bounce as they led Tottenham 3-2 with just nine minutes left to play in the capital. Jesse Marsch was the first major casualty of Leeds' poor form after the American was sacked nearly two weeks ago following a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest. The Whites are still without a win in the top flight since November and Saturday's defeat saw them equal a record that they would rather have avoided.
Leeds have now equalled a 76-year record for the lowest number of league victories over a 20-game period, going all the way back to 1947 where the club won just two matches over a 28-match period.
There is no doubting that the squad will want to get back to winning ways against Southampton next weekend and turn their fortunes around before it becomes too late in their battle against relegation.
