From Saudi Arabia to League One, seven of Leeds United’s loanees were in action over the weekend. Overall it was a decent weekend for the on loan contingent, with four players earning victories, one securing a draw and two suffering defeats.
While the Whites fell to a 5-2 defeat at Brentford, here is how they all got on.
Daniel James
James made his first appearance for Fulham following his deadline day switch. The Welshman came on for the final half an hour but could not prevent a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.

Charlie Cresswell
Despite starting on the bench, Cresswell was the key to Millwall’s 2-0 victory over Cardiff City. He replaced the injured Shaun Hutchinson on 48 minutes, before scoring his third goal of the season, and assisting Benik Afobe.
Jamie Shackleton
Shackleton has spent much of his time at Millwall playing in central midfield but started at wing back against Cardiff on Saturday. He played the full 90 minutes in the win.
Tyler Roberts
Injuries have meant a slow start to life at QPR for Roberts and he once again started on the bench at the weekend. He came on for the final half an hour as Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Swansea City.
Lewis Bate
Bate started for the first time in three league matches on Saturday as Oxford United defeated Burton Albion 2-1. He played 73 minutes in the victory.
Ian Poveda
Poveda made his first start for Blackpool on Sunday in their 1-0 away win at Huddersfield Town. The winger impressed throughout and it was his shot that hit the post which allowed Theo Corbeanu to open the scoring on the rebound.
Helder Costa
Costa played the full 90 minutes as Al-Ittihad were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Ettifaq.
