Leeds United have added Real Madrid left-back Miguel Gutierrez to their transfer list, according to reports.
Journalist Ekrem Konur has reported that Leeds could make a move for the 20-year-old. The Whites are on the hunt for a left-back after Leif Davis departed Elland Road to join League One side Ipswich Town on Monday.
Junior Firpo, Leeds' first choice left-back, will miss the start of the Premier League season through injury, while Jesse Marsch has 18-year-old Leo Hjelde in reserve. Jack Harrison and Pascal Struijk have also been tried at left-back during pre-season.
Left-back has been a problem area for Leeds in recent years - and they are reportedly looking at Gutierrez as a potential solution.
Konur said: "Leeds United have added Real Madrid's 20-year-old Spanish left-back Miguel Gutierrez to their short transfer list."
Recent reports have stated that Real Madrid are ready to sell Gutierrez, who was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer.
Gutierrez, who has been capped once by Spain under-21s, has made 10 appearances for Los Blancos. He made his debut in the Champions League last season, starting in Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat to FC Sheriff.
Gutierrez missed the back end of last season with a meniscal injury.
