It is fair to say that Hoffenheim starlet Georginio Rutter has his fair share of suitors following links to Leeds United over the past week - with many in and around the Bundesliga singing his praises.
Rutter, who was born on the west side of France, came through the youth setup at Rennes, but was bought by the Bundesliga outfit in January 2021 and instantly burst into the first team. One goal in his first season set the tone, and he enjoyed the best campaign of his career so far last time out with eight goals in 33 Bundesliga games in 2021/22.
His impressive demeanour has seen Leeds linked with his services due to Patrick Bamford's lack of minutes in the Premier League - just 427 to be exact - a reliance on Rodrigo Moreno and the lack of other options as out and out strikers. With reports suggesting that a bid is near, we have a look at what those close to Rutter think of their star man.

"Amazing, he can be great"
Former Leicester City and current Hoffenheim striker Andrej Kramaric said: "He can be an amazing player but of course everything depends on him, more on his head and clear thinking."
"I saw so many potential players in Croatia and all around Europe, these ages are dangerous ages for young players. When you get a lot of money at an early age, this is maybe not the best way to be one of the best in the world. Every year you see a lot of potential young players who disappear in a few years.
"If he is going to be fit and stable in the head I think he is going to have an amazing career. I believe he is going to be stable in the head because everything else he has. He is an extra potential player with physical power. He has a lot of space in front of him to improve. He can be a great player."
"Breathtaking and an unbelievable blend"
Alexander Rosen, Hoffenheim's head of development claimed: "Georginio's development over the last year with us has been breathtaking. He's one of the most promising young players in European football and his move to Hoffenheim has helped him progress considerably.
"Despite his young age he already has an unbelievable blend of athleticism, technique, speed and an eye for goal."
"Vibrant and youthful"
Bundesliga and FIFA 23 commentator Derek Rae posed his thoughts on Hoffenheim's season so far. "The standouts this season have been goalkeeper Oliver Baumann and the vibrant, youthful Georginio Rutter emerging."
"Speaks for himself"
And finally, Hoffenheim boss Andre Breitenreiter praised Rutter's integrity for staying on his feet in a game earlier this season. "He's clearly held on the shoulder. He keeps playing. If he goes down, I'm sure there will be penalties. But it also speaks for the boy that he continues to play the situation and doesn't take penalties."
