An impressive strike from Leeds United's summer deadline day target Bamba Dieng helped Senegal past Qatar 3-1, dumping the hosts out of the World Cup.
Goals from Boulaye Dia, Famara Diedhiou and Dieng saw Senegal on their way against Qatar at the Al Thumama Stadium.
Dieng was close to moving to Elland Road at the very end of the transfer window, with Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani even tweeting that fans should "welcome" the Senegalese forward to the club.

However, his deadline day move from Marseille took a huge twist when he opted to turn Leeds down in favour of a move to join Nice.
But after choosing to sign for Nice instead of Leeds, Dieng then failed his medical, meaning the deal fell through. In the end, the 22-year-old ended up staying with Marseille.
It was certainly one of the weirdest deadline day stories of recent times. But football fans haven't forgotten how close Dieng came to signing for Leeds, with plenty of supporters taking to social media following his World Cup strike against Qatar...
