Leeds United learn 2023-24 Premier League start and end dates

The start date for the 2023/24 Premier League season has been officially confirmed.

With the season slated to start on 12 August 2023, it means Leeds United's opening Premier League fixture will either be played on the 12 or 13 August.

The final round of Premier League action will conclude on Sunday 19 May 2024, with all 10 fixtures set to take place at the same time.

Jesse Marsch's side will also be handed a mini mid-season break, which will take place between 13-20 January. Overall, there will be 34 weekends of action, with three midweek rounds and one Bank Holiday match round.

With Leeds having won their last two Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Bournemouth in dramatic fashion, the Whites have pulled themselves away from the relegation zone after a barren run of form.

However, given how tight things are in the bottom half of the table, there's every chance Leeds will be involved in a relegation scrap this season, which could mean these dates are redundant next term should they go down.
