Leeds United fans will definitely be happy with the business that their clubs made over the January transfer window but one target manager Jesse Marsch did end up missing out on is Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 23-year-old has been very vocal about wanting to leave the Serie A club in the January window, even refusing to sit down and negotiate with his club about the possibility of a new contract.
Now after he did not get the move he desired, even amongst all the interest in him from the Whites and other European clubs, Zaniolo has told manager Jose Mourinho and the club that he'll sit out for the rest of the season.

But Italian outlet Il Messaggero believe that he's ready to take it one step further after claims came out that Roma refused to let him go with the relationship's recovery between the club and player 'practically impossible'.
It's reported that him and his family are looking at whether they can take the club to court over the dispute, in part due to the 'media massacre' and for 'having excluded him from the technical project following unprofessional behaviour (absence from training and refusal to call-ups)'.
Zaniolo's domestic career isn't the only thing on the line - now he's no longer playing for Roma, Italy's national team manager Roberto Mancini is highly unlikely to even turn his way for the Azzurri's future games.
The outlet claims that 'mobbing' and 'psychological pressure' are just two of many accusations his family are prepared to 'throw' at the club, after news broke that he'd received death threats from fans due to his request to leave mid-season.
Messaggero continue, claiming that his 'entourage has collected the events that have occurred in recent months, producing a file that will be the subject of discussion' in court and that the club will give their side in a press conference later this week.
