Leeds United return following a long break for the World Cup with a home match against champions Manchester City. The Whites have a number of fitness concerns heading into the match with several players absent from their final winter friendly against Monaco.
Jesse Marsch did provide some hopeful updates in his press conference last week, but there will be concerns over the match fitness of a number of members of his squad. So, with that in mind, here is a look at Leeds' current full injury list, what Marsch has said on them, and when they could return.
Crysencio Summerville - foot
Summerville went off in Leeds' first friendly against Elche inside the opening 10 minutes after picking up a knock to his foot in a tackle. There is hope that he will be fit to face Man City.

What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Yeah, he was on the pitch today, and he should be in training this week as well."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Rodrigo - hamstring
Rodrigo missed Leeds' final friendly with a tight hamstring. Marsch did not commit one way or another whether he would be available for City.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Rodrigo was schedule to play in the Monaco match up until the afternoon, and then we just felt like he was feeling a bit of tightness in his hamstring."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Liam Cooper - calf
Like Rodrigo, Cooper was also absent against Monaco with a minor injury. He should be fit to face City after Marsch confirmed he would be back training.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Cooper is out with a minor calf injury, and Jack Harrison had a small adductor injury. They should be training this week."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Jack Harrison - adductor
Harrison missed Leeds' final two friendlies but is likely to be available against his former club.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Cooper is out with a minor calf injury, and Jack Harrison had a small adductor injury. They should be training this week."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Mateusz Klich - ill
Klich missed the defeat to Monaco with illness so is likely to be fit for City.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "So, Klichy was sick, we had a few other guys sick the night before the day of the match."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Patrick Bamford - groin
Bamford missed the last two matches before the World Cup break with a hip injury but it was a separate issue that meant he did not travel to Spain. He underwent surgery on a minor groin injury in Munich, and missed all three of the friendlies meaning it is unlikely he will face City.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "So when he got sick, I think it disrupted his return into training, but we expect that he'll be back in training as well. Then it'll be, can we get him up to speed for the Man City match?"
Potential return date: 31/12/22
Illan Meslier - ill
Meslier did not feature in any of the friendlies due to glandular fever, which Leeds have been closely monitoring. He could be available against City, though.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "He has sort of a test tomorrow AM when they kind of do some internal checking, and then if he's cleared, we think he'll be back in training. He's been active."
Potential return date: 28/12/22
Luis Sinisterra - foot
Sinisterra missed the last three games before the break due to a foot injury, and went to Spain to do rehabilitation work. He is set to return to full training in the next two weeks.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Luis is making great progress, and we feel like he's on track. We have to be a little bit cautious with this injury, but we're hopeful that in a couple of weeks, he can be back in training."
Potential return date: 08/01/23
Stuart Dallas - leg
Like Sinisterra, Dallas also went to Spain to complete rehab work as he continues his recovery from a fractured femur. He was, however, forced to undergo a second surgery to 'clean some things up'.
What Marsch said (Dec 22): "Stuart actually had another surgery yesterday to kind of clean some things up. They felt that it was successful."
Potential return date: Unknown
Suspensions
Tyler Adams
The USA skipper's red card at Tottenham in Leeds' final match before the break means he faces a one-match ban and will therefore miss the visit of Manchester City.
