Liverpool fixture rescheduled
The Premier League has now confirmed a new date for the Leeds United's game at Anfield against Liverpool,
The game, which was postponed from the original Boxing Day date, will now take place on Wednesday February 23..
Kick-off will be at 7.45pm.
It was expected that rearranged matches would create fixture congestion in the second half of the season, however Leeds are one of the clubs least affected with just two games to squeeze into the calendar.

Moyes transfer warning
While Leeds United didn't bring in any new recruits for Marcelo Bielsa's first-team in January, they were able to rebuff offers for both Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha.
Both players are currently in the midst of contract negotiations but given the way their profiles have risen since playing in the Premier League, bids were bound to come in for their services. In this case, it was reported that West Ham made £50million bids for each player.
It seems that was the case, as David Moyes revealed yesterday that his club had made club record bids for several players during the transfer window.
"West Ham supporters can be reassured that we were really ambitious in what we were trying to do. We were really ambitious in trying to get good players and players who could help us and make a difference," Moyes told West Ham TV as reported by Football.London.
"We probably made three record transfer bids from the club in this January window and, let’s be fair, January is never really a great time."
Edmondson loving loan life
Ryan Edmondson says he is loving life on loan at Port Vale after securing his move from Leeds United at the beginning of January.
The 20-year-old struggled in the first half of the season at Fleetwood Town but he is already enjoying more success in Stoke-on-Trent.
He opened his account for the Vale in their 1-1 draw with Forest Green on Tuesday evening as he put the finishing touch to an in-swinging corner after 12 minutes.
It was just Edmondson’s second start for the League Two side after making three appearances from the bench and he is already building relationships with his team mates and the supporters.
He told Stoke-on-Trent Live : “The fans were different class. On a Tuesday night especially, it is difficult to get fans down to the ground so it is all credit to them. I don’t think we could have put in the performance we did without them.
“I have loved coming into the club. It is a really positive environment and I think for a young striker to get off the mark this early… especially with the players, manager and coaching staff around you, supporting you 100 per cent.
“I just can’t wait to get going again on Saturday.”
