Here are your Leeds United morning headlines for Tuesday, January 24.
Marcelo Bielsa backed for Everton job
Frank Lampard's Everton sacking has seen Marcelo Bielsa tipped to become the new man in charge at Goodison Park. The former Chelsea midfielder leaves the Toffees with the club languishing in 19th place and in need of somebody who can rapidly turn their fortunes around.
Given Bielsa's previous experience it is little surprise he has been heavily linked to take over at Merseyside. Gary Neville for one is a fond admirer of the former Leeds manager, as he explained why he thought the 67-year-old would be an ideal successor to Lampard.

“It would be fun," Neville told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football. "I can still see the remnants of Bielsa at Leeds. He would lift that crowd, he would lift the dressing room because the football would instantly become energetic."
What supporters can expect to see before the transfer window shuts
Just one week remains of the January transfer window and across the Premier League clubs will be completing stock checks before deciding on any last minute business. The final few days in the window can be manic and a number of clubs are expected to do business with some looking to strengthen, while others will be keen to balance the books.
It’s already been an interesting month for Leeds United, who have bagged themselves two new additions in Max Wober and Georginio Rutter, while loans have been found for Leo Hjelde and Alfie McCalmont. The Whites released Mateusz Klich from his contract earlier this month, freeing him up to sign for DC united, while young striker Max Dean has left on a permanent basis to link up with former Leeds coach Mark Jackson at MK Dons.
There’s a possibility that more business could be done over the next seven days, though. Here’s a look at what to expect.
Jesse Marsch's positive selection headache
Jesse Marsch insists that Leeds United's improved options in the final third will allow the team to be 'stronger off the bench'. The Leeds boss selected Rodrigo to lead the line against Brentford, while Patrick Bamford and club record signing Georginio Rutter started on the bench.
Leeds had previously been deprived of attacking options with Luis Sinisterra and Bamford both out injured. However, Rodrigo has shone in Bamford's absence scoring 12 goals across all competitions, and Wilfried Gnonto is quickly establishing himself as a key player for the Whites.
The signing of Rutter from Hoffenheim has coincided with the returns of Sinisterra and Bamford from injury, and Marsch claims that he always intended to fill his squad with a wealth of attacking options.
