Here are your Leeds United morning headlines for Saturday 15 October.
Leeds target being eyed by Serie A giants
After missing out on a deal to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz in the summer, Leeds may miss out on the opportunity to lure the 23-year-old to Elland Road in January with reigning Serie A champions AC Milan reportedly keen on the Chile international.
The striker scored 22 goals in 39 Championship appearances last term and seemed set to depart Ewood Park over the summer but a move never came into fruition.
However, with seven goals in his first 14 league matches of the season, renewed interest in the striker is expected, with Estadio Deportivo, via HITC, reporting that Italian giants AC Milan have joined the race for Brereton Diaz's signature.

Whites manager Jesse Marsch has already missed out on one transfer target to the Rossoneri with Belgium international Charles De Ketelaere opting for a move to the San Siro in the summer.
Leeds United transfer window meeting plan
It is understood that Marsch and the Leeds hierarchy will meet over the coming weeks to discuss their strategy for the upcoming January transfer window.
A busy summer saw nine new additions come through the door at Elland Road but the first eight Premier League matches of the 2022/23 season have shown that the Yorkshire outfit are still light in some departments with the American manager's side currently sat in 14th and winless in five.
It's currently unclear how active Leeds plan to be in January with Marsch staying tight-lipped when asked about his hopes for the transfer window in Friday's pre-match press conference ahead of hosting league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
Arsenal captain sends message ahead of Leeds test
Arsenal skipper Martin Ødegaard has insisted that the Gunners aren't 'getting carried away' ahead of their trip to Elland Road on Sunday to face Leeds United.
Mikel Arteta's side are top of the Premier League having taken 24 points from a possible 27 whilst also winning their three Europa League matches.
Speaking ahead of their trip to Yorkshire, the Norway international said: "Our goal is to win the next game. We have to take it step-by-step, we’re not getting carried away, we have to stay calm and keep working hard and we’ll see."
Junior Firpo set to return for Arsenal clash
Speaking ahead of Sunday's meeting with Arsenal, Marsch confirmed that left-back Junior Firpo is fit enough to be involved in the matchday squad after missing last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace with a knock.
The 26-year-old has made just one Premier League appearance thus far this season with a knee injury holding him back from selection, however, Firpo has trained this week and will be included in Sunday's squad.
However, it's unlikely that he will be able to immediately beat Pascal Struijk to a starting place with the Dutchman playing every league game thus far and scoring at Selhurst Park last weekend.
