Rail works will be taking place between York and Northallerton, which will likely impact the travel plans of Whites fans heading up to Newcastle.
While there will be no trains operating between the two stations on New Year's Eve, a replacement bus service will be available to use instead.
Rail operators have advised fans to make alternative travel arrangements.
