Leeds United fans send message to Marcelo Bielsa over Raphinha decision

Raphinha made an instant impact after being sensationally dropped by Marcelo Bielsa for one of the biggest games of the season.

He scored his ninth goal of the season in Leeds United's 4-2 defeat against Manchester United when he tapped home Daniel James' cross to equalise after Rodrigo pulled one back for the Whites and was impressive throughout his 45-minute display.

Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Anthony Elanga were on target for the Red Devils at Elland Road and Leeds supporters have delivered their verdict on the players.

Fans rated Raphinha 6.7 out of ten for his performance via our interactive ratings tool - the second-highest after Adam Forshaw was handed 7.1.

The latter was excellent at the heart of the Whites midfield and made a real difference upon his return to the starting XI following a three-game absence due to injury.

No player won more tackles than Forshaw (5), while he also recorded 44 successful passes, six ball recoveries and created once chance in a dominant display.

Gary Neville was impressed by Mateusz Klich during the game and the Leeds faithful agreed with his verdict - issuing him a 6.6.

Joe Gelhardt, Stuart Dallas and Rodrigo were all tied on 6.5 and all had an important role in Leeds fightback.

Gelhardt came on at half-time for Diego Llorente at half-time and brought an extra ounce of energy to the game, while Dallas' switch into midfield was influential and Rodrigo netted Leeds' first goal.

Meanwhile, it was an afternoon to forget for Llorente, who was given the lowest rating out of any Whites player.

Jack Harrison was part of that double substitution at the interval and he was handed 5.1 and Junior Firpo also struggled when he was introduced to the game.

Leeds will be looking to bounce back from a third defeat in four matches when they travel to Liverpool on Wednesday night.
