Leeds United fans have their say on Crysencio Summerville amid January loan exit reports

Leeds United's transfer window has been a quiet one, as teenage striker Mateo Joseph Fernandez has been the only incoming, whilst full back Cody Drameh was allowed to leave on loan to Cardiff City.

Fans were hoping to see some first-team signings and whilst two bids have gone in for RB Salzburg's Brenden Aaronson, at this stage it's not clear whether Leeds will get their man.

Reports have today emerged linking Crysencio Summerville with a January loan exit, with Hamburg said to have made a move for the winger.

The winger made his debut for the club this season and has made five Premier League appearances this season. Given how often Leeds have struggled with injuries, it's easy to imagine that the Dutchman will have plenty more opportunities for Premier League minutes before the season is up.

However, stories have claimed that Summerville wants more regular minutes, with Hamburg said to be keen.

Here is a selection of what Whites fans have been saying on Twitter in response to these rumours:

@liamcxward praying this doesn’t happen. he’s top class.

@LaithLeedsUtd We can’t be selling Summerville, I would say he should be starting for Leeds more often.

@Upsdowns12 Will only be happy with this kind of move if it goes to secure targets now.

@ChattingLeeds If we let Summerville go as well as Drameh and don’t sign anyone ourselves then this window is a disaster!! Not saying orta isn’t trying he probably is but we need bodies in ASAP because we can’t be relying on young lads to rescue us when senior players get injured #LUFC

@pollard500600 He's(Summerville) got Raphs, Harrison, James, Poveda, Costa (loan) ahead of him. With our horrific injury record still not getting much game time. Let him go and play games, develop but extend his contract, Didn't do Sancho, Bellingham any harm. #lufc

@LeedsViews If we can extend his contract then this would be a great deal for everyone involved. His minutes have been limited so far this season so he might as well go out and get first team experience.

@IufcIiam Best of luck to Summerville honestly he deserves first team football. Just pray it’s only a loan, surely we can’t be so stupid to let him go permanently.
