Leeds United duo Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison are both in the top eight for chances created in the Premier League so far this season. Aaronson currently sits seventh with 23, while Harrison sits just one place behind him with 22.
Kevin de Bruyne, Mo Salah, Bruno Fernandes, Andreas Pereira, Kieran Trippier and Pascal Gross are currently the only players who have created more opportunities than the Leeds pairing. What that suggests is that Jesse Marsch's side do not have a problem in fashioning openings, but actually putting the ball in the back of the net is a different issue.
Patrick Bamford has been the most culpable for that in recent weeks, with the Whites' striker having missed the most big chances in the division so far this season with nine. Leeds scored seven goals in their opening three matches this season but have scored just six in the eight that have followed, which is no where near enough if they want to climb the table.

Despite their ability to create chances, both Aaronson and Harrison cannot escape criticism for their returns in front of goal either. They have netted just one goal each so far this season, both of which came in the 3-0 win over Chelsea back in August.
Aaronson's solitary strike was somewhat of a freak, too, as his impressive high pressing led him to tackling goalkeeper Edouard Mendy almost on his own line before tapping into an empty net. The USMNT international is certainly capable of getting on the scoresheet more often and will need to start doing so if Leeds are to arrest their recent slump.
