Leeds United's Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson have both been named in the USA squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. The Whites midfield duo are set to represent their nation at a major tournament for the first time following impressive starts to the season at club level.
Both have made an instant impact at Elland Road since their summer arrivals, with Adams arriving from Red Bull Leipzig and becoming an instant fan favourite following a string of tenacious midfield displays.
Aaronson, meanwhile, has also established himself as an important player after making the move from Red Bull Salzburg. He has started every Premier League match so far this season, with his dribbling and pressing a real asset to Jesse Marsch' s side.

Adams and Aaronson have become the third and fourth Leeds players to be officially called up for the tournament, with confirmation of Rasmus Kristensen's place in the Denmark squad having arrived earlier this week and Dan James being confirmed in Wales' squad earlier on Wednesday. Diego Llorente, Rodrigo Moreno and Pascal Struijk have also made the provisional squads of Spain and Netherlands respectively, though it is the former who appears to stand the only real chance of making the final cut.
Other players hopeful of appearing at the tournament include Mateusz Klich (Poland) and Robin Koch (Germany). That said, reports from Klich's homeland earlier this week indicated he could miss out due to a lack of game time this season, while Koch did not make the last Germany squad in the September international break, meaning a nervy couple of days is in store for both.
USA will face England, Iran and Wales in Qatar.
