Leeds United duo Diego Llorente and Rodrigo Moreno have reportedly made Spain's preliminary 55-man squad for the World Cup next month. Luis Enrique's squad is thought to have been leaked by Spanish outlet AS with the Whites pairing both having made the cut.
Rodrigo has been an important part of the Leeds side so far this season with five goals and one assist in 10 appearances. He has not made any of Spain's last three squads, though, with his last appearance for his national team coming almost 12 months ago in the 1-0 win over Sweden which secured their qualification for the tournament.
Llorente, meanwhile, has found game time hard to come by at Elland Road in recent weeks. The centre back had started the season alongside Robin Koch as Leeds' first choice pairing but a horror show in the 5-2 defeat at Brentford in September saw him dropped to the bench.

He has started just once since that game in Leeds' 2-0 defeat at Leicester City earlier this month. Llorente, though, has been a regular member of Enrique's squad in the last year or so, making three of the last four, including the most recent one last month.
On that basis it feels as if Llorente is the most likely to be on the plane for Qatar, though he will face plenty of competition with Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte now back in the fold after missing the first two months of the season with injury. Pascal Struijk is the only player to have so far been named in a provisional squad having been named in Louis van Gaal's 39-man side.
