The hugely-popular Leeds United documentary Take Us Home is returning to Amazon Prime this week for a limited second series.
Two 45-minute episodes will land on the streaming service on Thursday, September 17.
In August 2019, Amazon released the six-episode documentary series about the Whites and their ill-fated first season under Marcelo Bielsa.
Take Us Home: Leeds United told the story of Bielsa’s arrival in West Yorkshire, Spygate, Daniel James’s transfer collapse, the Aston Villa goal and, ultimately, the play-off loss.
Now, it returns for two episodes which will document the tale of promotion in 2019/20, set against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The series is narrated once again by Academy Award winner and avid Leeds fan Russell Crowe.
He said: "After years of pain, seeing the white army marching on together back to the Premier League where they should be has given me nothing but pleasure.
"And to be able to help tell the incredible story of the past two seasons through Take Us Home has been a real honour.”
Anouk Mertens, Managing Director of NEO Studios who produced the documentary, added: “Over the past two years we have covered the journey of one of English football’s great clubs as it has fought to get back home to the Premier League.
"When we started the process, we knew there’d be plenty of excitement but we couldn’t have anticipated the events of the past two seasons.
"It’s been a privilege to document the extraordinary highs and lows of this iconic club and we hope football fans and just fans of great stories enjoy the show.”
