Leeds United could rely on a favour from rivals Manchester United if Raphinha's move to Barcelona is going to progress. Raphinha is set to leave Elland Road this summer, with Barcelona and Chelsea both interested in the winger.
Barcelona are keen on the Brazilian international, but reports suggest that the Catalan club don't want to pay the fee for Raphinha until next year, and even then it will be paid in instalments.
Bizarrely, Manchester United could have a key role to play in getting the wheels moving on Raphinha's move to the Spanish giants. inews have suggested that Barcelona may need to sell Frenkie de Jong to the Red Devils to free up funds to seal a deal for Raphinha. De Jong has been linked with a move to Manchester United all summer, in a move which would see him link up with old boss Erik ten Hag.

Reports have stated that De Jong's move to United would cost around £56 million. It is understood that Leeds value Raphinha at £60 million. Jesse Marsch has left Raphinha out of his squad for Leeds' pre-season tour in Australia.
The winger looks set to depart the club after two years in Yorkshire, but a move to Barcelona could all hinge on Manchester United doing the Whites a favour.
