Leeds United owner and chairman Andrea Radrizzani appears to have taken responsibility for the Whites’ Premier League slide, following their latest loss against Bournemouth at Dean Court. Javi Gracia’s side lost 4-1 on the south coast to extend their winless run to five games and leave themselves at serious risk of relegation back to the Championship.
United fell two goals behind in the first half of the game, with Jefferson Lerma bagging both goals. Patrick Bamford pulled one back before the interval but the effort wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback and in the second half Bournemouth pulled away with Dominic Solanke and Antoine Semenyo notching goals.
There were boos and chants aimed at Victor Orta and the board throughout various points of the match and it seems Radrizzani was active on social media during the contest. The club owner appears to have responded to a direct message on Twitter from Leeds fans and Youtuber Conor McGilligan, who posted a screenshot of the alleged conversation for all to see.

In the picture, Radrizzani appears to be describing the performance of Gracia’s men as ‘unacceptable’ and ‘ridiculous’.
“I am broken,” he seems to say, as per the tweet. “I am responsible for this s---. Unacceptable. You don’t deserve this. Ridiculous.”

The loss at Dean Court was Leeds’ fourth in five games and it leaves them perched ominously on the edge of the Premier League’s relegation zone. Leeds are the owners of the worst defensive record in the competition and with just four games remaining it seems something needs to change if they are to avoid the drop.
Gracia now has the unenviable task of trying to pick his side up for the trip to Manchester City next weekend.
