Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has discussed how him and a few other players created a leadership group under head coach Jesse Marsch in order to help players communicate better with the American.
Cooper, who has been a Leeds fan since a child, has been with the club since 2014 and has made 247 appearances for the Whites, scoring nine goals and racked up seven assists.
Speaking to the Official Leeds United Podcast, Cooper explained that a group of senior players, including himself, help their teammates with issues they might have and take them to the boss.

"We have a sort of leadership group, there's a few of the senior lads in there and we try to get together with Jesse [Marsch] every four to six weeks. Obviously if the lads have any issues, or small things in terms of training or travel, we'll see him.
"He's very approachable, he's always said since the start that you can come and see him about anything so I think the lads have really taken to that.
"I think if you're knocking on his door and you haven't been pulling your weight recently, it might be a different matter so you have to pick and choose your fights!"
Cooper then went on to discuss how Marsch felt coming into the squad at a difficult point in the season and how the club suited his tactical style straight away.
"The lads have been brilliant, I think Jesse would tell you himself, he came into a really good group, a very fit group and that totally matched with what he's about and the way he likes his team playing football.
"It's obviously gone well so far, hand-in-hand and it's been a good start to the season so far."
