Leeds United U23s have played twice at Elland Road this season. On both occasions, crowds have surpassed 8,000 in number - a record in Premier League 2 competition this season.
The Whites earned a win versus Liverpool U23s earlier this year, as close to 9,000 home fans descended on Elland Road.
While, last October another 8,943 were in attendance as the youngsters fought valiantly but ultimately fell to defeat against Arsenal U23s.
Leeds' 23s have been well-supported up and down the country this year. More recently, there was a dedicated away end for travelling Leeds fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the young Whites drew 1-1 in north London.
Ahead of tomorrow night's clash with Manchester United U23s, the club has released a statement declaring that in excess of 8,000 tickets have already been sold for the fixture, and that supporters will be able to purchase theirs up until kick-off at 7pm on Tuesday, March 15.
The expectation is that over 10,000 fans will make the trip to Elland Road to see the young Whites face their arch-rivals in a miniature Pennines derby.
Leeds U23s are still fighting against relegation back to Premier League 2 Division 2, the league in which they excelled as champions last season.
Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea and Derby County's youngsters are the only sides below Leeds in the 14-team top flight where two clubs will be relegated at the end of the campaign.
With six games remaining until the end of the season, there is hope that a strong XI will be named in tomorrow night's fixture with fifth-placed Manchester United.
New U23s boss Andrew Taylor - who takes charge in place of Mark Jackson who has joined Jesse Marsch's backroom team - did suggest that if some of the 23s' more established names were in need of match fitness, it would be permissible for them to feature.
A statement from the club on Monday afternoon read: "The side have been superbly supported all season both home and away, so we look forward to another bumper crowd on Tuesday night.
"The Whites have played twice at Elland Road so far this season, bringing in crowds around the 10,000 mark, at home to both Arsenal and most recently, Liverpool.
"Currently standing at sales over 8,000 and with more than 24 hours remaining until the fixture, another big turnout is expected under the lights on home turf."
