Northern Ireland teenager Charlie Allen has signed a new contract with Leeds United.
The 18-year-old midfielder has put pen-to-paper on an extension which commits him to the club until the summer of 2024. Allen joined Leeds from Linfield back in 2020 and has progressed through the Premier League club's academy Under 18 and 23 ranks.
Last season he scored three goals in 24 appearances in the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.

Leeds said on their website: "Leeds United are pleased to announce that Charlie Allen has signed a new contract with the club, extending his stay until the summer of 2024.
"Allen joined the Whites in the summer of 2020 and quickly showed his talent throughout both the Under-18s and Under-23s side, featuring regularly in both teams. With the versatility to operate in all areas of midfield, Allen has shown his composure on the ball and his ability to impact positively on matches.
"Last season he played 24 matches, stretching across the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy, scoring three times. Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Charlie on signing a new contract with the club and we look forward to him furthering his development."
