Leeds have made eight signings and seen Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips leave in a summer of upheaval at Elland Road.
The comings and goings are not finished yet and Patrick Bamford's hamstring injury on Saturday has underlined their need for a striker to boost their attacking options.
Jesse Marsch claims they are looking for a frontman, but he is keen not to bring in someone who would block the progress of his young guns Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood. Leeds are also looking for a left-back with Junior Firpo out injured and Pascal Struijk has been deputising in that position.
Mirror Sport has the latest Leeds transfer news, including an update on their striker search.
Leeds want £14million-rated Manchester United midfielder
MOT Leeds News carry a report from The Athletic claiming Leeds are one of our Premier League clubs interested in signing James Garner from Manchester United.
Leeds have tracked Garner for some time and he impressed on loan last season at Nottingham Forest, helping them win promotion to the Premier League after a 23-year wait.
Everton, Southampton and Tottenham are also said to be keen and United are willing to cash in on the 21-year-old for £14million. Garner is keen to leave and play regular football, although it appears Leeds have signed enough midfielders for this window in Marc Roca and Tyler Adams.
Marsch plots another raid on the MLS for red-hot striker
Leedsallover.com carry a report, claiming Leeds boss Jesse Marsch is keen on MLS star Brandon Vazquez.
Vazquez has scored 15 goals in 24 appearances for FC Cincinnati and it seems only a matter of time before he leaves the MLS. The report cites CBS Sports Ben Jacobs, who says Marsch is a big fan of Vazquez and believes he could be a success in the Premier League.
But the report says a deal is unlikely this summer, despite Leeds' need for a striker, and that Vazquez is seen as a long-term target for the Whites.
Leeds interest in MLS defender confirmed
Leeds Live carry a report that Philadelphia Union boss Jim Curtin has confirmed that Jesse Marsch has spoken to him about their left-back Kai Wagner.
Leeds are looking to strengthen at left-back and the report says Marsch has approached Curtin to discuss Wagner, whose contract expires in December.
Philadelphia want to keep Wagner, but it is understood the 25-year-old German would be interested in a move to the Premier League. Leeds and Marsch must now decide if they want to firm up their interest with a bid or make do with Pascal Struijk at left-back until Junior Firpo returns.
