Restaurant online booking service OpenTable has released a list of the best restaurants in Leeds.
And if you're expecting yet another list featuring Man Behind the Curtain, think again. This is a distinctly un-elitist top three which might be a refreshing surprise for those who don't want to shell out massively on small portions of very fancy food.*
Collated from user reviews, the OpenTable Top 10 Diners' Choice Winners in Yorkshire list features three Leeds restaurants. They are from the top: Amici, Moortown plus Chef Jono at V&V; and Mad Frans, in the city centre.

Here's a little bit about each one.
*There's nothing wrong with said places. If you want the finest in cutting-edge cooking such restaurants exist but they're not for everyone and shouldn't necessarily be seen as the pinnacle of dining.
1. Amici
This chic, suburban Moortown ristorante serves well-presented modern takes on Italian classics. If you're bored of uninspiring pasta and pizzas this is worth a shot.

2. Chef Jono at V&V
MasterChef finalist Jono Hawthorne serves imaginative fine dining at this restaurant which beat all Yorkshire's Michelin-starred restaurants to be crowned Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year at the Food Awards England 2022.
68 New Briggate, LS1 6NU
3. Mad Frans
This quirky bar serves classic British and American comfort food with elegant style as well as cocktails... lots of cocktails.
