Firefighters rushed to the scene after a fire ripped through a derelict wool mill in Leeds, covering the suburb in plumes of smoke.
For miles around, homes in Morley were covered in smoke after the break out in Crank Mill, Station Road. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were quick to respond with firefighters on scene to douse the flames this morning (May 30) at about 10am.
Multiple fire engines were at the scene, with crews spraying the 18th century building with hoses and firefighters being lifted above the building in a crane. The crane was seen above an exposed part of the roof, where smoke was billowing out of.

Reports suggest the fire was put out quickly by the firefighters but it is unknown how much damage was done to the building, which is currently on the market for £395,000. West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service remains at the scene, investigating what sparked the blaze.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "After receiving reports of a fire at Crank Mills, Station Road in Morley at 9:42, crews from Morley and Dewsbury, plus two from Hunslet and an aerial appliance from Wakefield are currently in attendance."
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Crank Mill was originally cot structed in the 18th century as a wool mill and extended into over three storeys in the 19th Century. It has been used for a variety of industrial purposes since then.
