Rail passengers in Leeds have been left stranded on trains this evening with all lines blocked and severe delays due to flooding caused by Storm Franklin.
National Rail tweeted that "all lines at Leeds are blocked due to damage caused by the wind and flooding", with disruption expected for the rest of the day.
A boat which has crashed into a bridge between Leeds and Huddersfield has caused lines between those two places to be blocked and again, National Rail has warned of severe delays.

People on Twitter who have been made aware of the delays have been tweeting - some in desperate bids to try and get home this Sunday evening as Storm Franklin causes chaos across Leeds and Yorkshire.
@Willhide jokingly tweeted: "Stuck at Leeds because of flooding, going nowhere fast it seems. We’ve broken out the emergency buns."
@sephygaming posted: "Stuck on a train outside Leeds station due to flooding, unknown how long imma be here but no trains are getting through the station rn lmaoooooooo kill me."
