Rohan Smith has made a decision to move players back into familiar positions for Leeds Rhinos' clash with Huddersfield Giants. Smith has used players in secondary positions in recent weeks but Friday's contest will see players utilised in their primary slots.
That starts with Richie Myler, who is at fullback, and Ash Handley, who is playing on the wing. Their moves are instigated by Aidan Sezer's return, who partners Blake Austin in the halves. The only player not featuring in their recognised positions is Rhyse Martin who, alongside Luis Roberts, have been preferred to Derrell Olpherts at centre.
Mikolaj Oledzki and Sam Walters are the starting props while James Bentley, James McDonnell and Cameron Smith make up the back of the pack. Smith has gone for a forward-heavy bench which includes Sam Lisone on his return to action after injury.
He's joined by Frenchman Justin Sangare, James Donaldson and Corey Johnson. The four players in the 21-man squad to miss out, Olpherts, Leon Ruan, Luke Hooley and Jack Sinfield, have all played for the reserves.
