Leeds Rhinos will be without James Bentley for next week's Challenge Cup rematch with Wigan Warriors after suffering a concussion in the first-half. The Ireland international was involved in a thunderous collision with winger Abbas Miski which saw him crumple on the floor as a result.
Clearly in trouble upon collision, it was no surprise that Bentley didn't return after his head injury assessment, leaving Leeds down a sub early doors.
Beyond that, it means he is automatically unavailable next week, with concussion protocols ensuring he cannot play next week. It means he will miss the BBC televised game against the Warriors.

It leaves Rohan Smith with a potential problem given another back-row option, Zane Tetevano, was sent off later in the game and now faces a suspension. James McDonnell, a regular in the role this season, is currently out with an arm injury too.
Bentley is off-contract at the end of the season. He arrived at the club from St Helens ahead of the 2022 season.
