Leeds Rhinos ratings as too many fall way short of standards in Wigan Warriors defeat

Leeds Rhinos suffered their second straight defeat at the start of the season as they went down 34-12 to Wigan Warriors.

Here are the player ratings.

Jack Walker - 4: Tough night at the office as he made a few handling errors, including a costly one on his own try-line that gave Sam Powell a fluke try.

Liam Tindall - 7: Really good showing from the young winger. Made metres galore and didn't shy away even when the game was going against them. Made one stunning break, should ahve gone in-field but will be better for that moment. Sin-binned late on.

Tom Briscoe - 5: By no means Leeds' worse but has had better games.

Liam Sutcliffe - 6: One of the more solid performers on the night, carried strong and defence relatively stable.

Ash Handley - 5: Exceptional last week but quiet this game. Went off injured in the second-half.

Blake Austin - 7: Probably Leeds' star man. Just provided a constant running threat and scored 11 minutes into his debut.

Aidan Sezer - 4: Not his night. Poor execution, was caught wanting too much time and came up with the wrong options.

Matt Prior - 7: They're just better with him on the field aren't they? Solid performance and two in two for the season.

Kruise Leeming -6.5: Started very bright but faded and his impact lessened. Lovely assist for Prior's try.

Zane Tetevano - 7: Another who toughened Leeds up when he was on the field. Got involved in some big collisions and came out on top.

Alex Mellor - 6: Strong start but tired as the game went on.

Morgan Gannon - 6: Looked to lose his composure in the second-half as the game went away. Solid generally though.

Cameron Smith 6: Another who went off injured but Leeds looked better when he was on the field.

Corey Johnson - 5: Tasked with coming on at left centre and was targeted hard. Will have learnt a bit about the physicality of the game in a less familiar position.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 4: The England international hasn't hit his straps yet. Had to do better for Field's second try.

James Donaldson - 5: Never lacking in effort but was by no means his best Leeds performance tonight.

Bodene Thompson - 6: Never spectacular but rarely a liability.
