Leeds Rhinos player ratings with dismally low scores after Hull KR defeat

Luke Hooley - 1: Gives me no pleasure at all doing this but as far as nightmare debuts go, this has to be right up there. Let's be right, this was a horrendous game to come into, with horrific weather, a shocking wind and Jordan Abdull's aerial bombardment. But everything that could go wrong, went wrong. He dropped a number of balls and just generally had a nightmare night to forget. But absolutely should not be judged on one game.

David Fusitu'a - NA: Limped off early with an ankle injury which denied him the chance to influence the game.

Harry Newman - 4: Had no impact on the game whatsoever but wasn't one of the more guilty players for errors.

Rhyse Martin - 4: Similar to Newman. Hard to recall anything like a telling contribution to the game.

Derrell Olpherts - 2: Will have nightmares about Jordan Abdull for a long, long time. Did at least force Louis Senior out of play to deny a further first-half try.

Blake Austin - 3: Chalk and cheese to Abdull. His kicking game just not on at all. Did make one break but failed to make ten metres with two dropouts.

Aidan Sezer - 5: Forgot he was playing for the most part, to be honest. But did ultimately get two try assists.

Tom Holroyd - 5: Part of a beaten Leeds pack in the first half that then allowed Abdull to terrorise.

Jarrod O'Connor - 5: Tried in vain to produce some big defensive plays to enthuse his time.

Zane Tetevano - 5: Can't just be me who thinks he plays better every time he's in the back row?

James McDonnell - 7: Leeds' best, for me. Solid as a rock and rewarded with a try.

James Bentley - 4: Season isn't up and running yet. Looks rusty.

Cameron Smith - 3: Guilty of his fair share of errors. Conditions like that don't suit his game sadly.

Sam Lisone - 5: No better but no worse than any of the other middles.

Justin Sangare - 4: Not the worst, definitely not the best. Defence needs to improve.

Luis Roberts - 4: A few errors and was partly to blame for the calamitous start to the second half, where Leeds didn't regain the kick-off.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 5: A very steady return to action. Slightly off the pace to be honest, but not the only one.
