Leeds Rhinos player ratings as play-off hopes suffer setback in Toulouse

Richie Myler - 7 : Dealt with the aerial bombardment that came his way well. Had little to play with behind a beaten pack but forced errors with his kicking from Ashall-Bott and a great break late on.

Ash Handley - 5 : Unusually quiet and not as effective in back play as usual. Toulouse did a superb job of pinning him in corners with their kicking game which took up his energy and ability to get sets off to a good start.

Rhyse Martin - 5 : Decent defensively on the whole but a few errors that let him down slightly.

Max Simpson - 5 : One brave run that brought a penalty. Will have learned a lot from this.

David Fusitu'a - 5 : Leeds needed their wingers to do work for them and neither Fusitu'a or Handley did it as well as they usually do. Again, Toulouse's kicking game stifled him.

Corey Johnson - 5 : Without sounding harsh, completely forgot he was playing. Had some involvements late on.

Jack Sinfield - 5 : Targeted defensively but held his own. Played behind a beaten pack so hard to influence the game.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 5 : Struggled to impose himself on the game. One of the cleaner defenders.

Jarrod O'Connor - 5 : Admirable effort as always but still learning his craft at nine. Work rate is next level though, every week.

Sam Walters - 6 : The one pack member in the who managed to punch through with his carries. A real threat with the ball, but his defence still needs some work.

James Bentley - 6 : Came up with nothing in attack but did put in a big defensive effort.

Morgan Gannon - 7 : Not faultless but came up with some big defensive plays and one of the bigger threats with the ball.

Cameron Smith - 5 : Another who defensively can just be a bit sloppy. His attacking qualities were hard to showcase behind a beaten pack.

Brad Dwyer - 7 : Leeds' most threatening player by a considerable distance on this French evening.

James Donaldson - 6 : Along with another interchange forward, helped steady the defensive issues. No real go forward.

Bodene Thompson - 6 : Helped tidy up some of the defensive issues early on.

Liam Tindall - 5 : Not enough chance to showcase his qualities.
