Leeds Rhinos player ratings as Morgan Gannon impresses again in Catalans defeat

Zak Hardaker - 5 : Powerless to stop Catalans' dominance. Worked his backside off. Getting barged back five metres for a drop-out summed up the Dragons' intensity.

Tom Briscoe - 5 : Was left in horrible predicaments over and over as Catalans worked numerical advantages on his edge. Easy to blame a winger when they jump out but if they don't, the centre crashes in. Came up with two reads that denied certain tries.

Rhyse Martin - 7 : Came up with some good defensive moments but got a few reads wrong too. Solid enough overall with his carries. One of the better performers.

Liam Sutcliffe - 5 : Caught out defensively on a couple of occasions. Improved second-half.

Liam Tindall - 5 : Was completely anonymous for the large part, truth be told.

Richie Myler - 5 : Was unlucky to drop the kick that resulted in Catalans re-taking the lead but a costly error all the same. One poor kick that went for a seven-tackle set. Bagged a try after a good solo run.

Jack Sinfield - 5 : Forced a drop-out with a neat kick but didn't do much else. Targeted defensively and was physically bullied at times but that's to be expected. He kept putting his gloves up and went again.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 6 : Carried the ball better than anyone but part of a pack that got manhandled. Better second stint.

Kruise Leeming - 4 : Played behind a beaten pack so had no chance to do anything with the ball. Without it, was part of a pack that needed to do better. Needs time to get up to full speed.

Sam Walters - 6 : Did superbly to take his try but had some dodgy moments without the ball. Just a little too static when without the ball.

Morgan Gannon - 7 : Tried in vain to turn the tide. It was to no avail. One great hit at the start of the second-half that forced an error. Leeds' best.

Zane Tetevano - 6 : Credit to him for another big stint, playing the full eighty, but the pack struggled big time in that first half.

Jarrod O'Connor - 5 : Given no protection by those around him and constantly isolated one-on-one against players almost twice his size which resulted in easy metres. Did what he could, good break near the end.

Matt Prior - 4 : The hope was he'd come on and shore things up defensively. It didn't happen.

James Bentley - 5 : Playing hurt and as ever, had a dig for the cause. Defended well, threw one poor offload at a time when Leeds just needed to apply some pressure, instead he lost the ball. Made another handling error second-half.

Brad Dwyer - 6 : Got what is becoming a regulatory try every game. Quiet otherwise. Fumbled one at the play-the-ball at a bad time.

Muizz Mustapha - 4 : Came on in the second half and plodded away without doing much of note good or bad. Only played for around 14 minutes so loses a mark, even if it wasn't his choice.
