Leeds Rhinos player ratings as James Bentley inspires Grand Final return

Richie Myler - 7: Had to do some very brave defending in that first half but fielded all the kicks in the corners superbly.

Tom Briscoe - 6: Beaten too easy by Marshall for the opener and fortunate not to be caught out again when the Wigan winger got around him in the second half but couldn't ground it.

Zak Hardaker - 8: Really good again. Really good. Defensively was pivotal in some big reads during that first half bombardment of the Leeds line.

Liam Sutcliffe - 7: A solid, assured performance. Just solid all around.

Liam Tindall - 7: Was targeted in the air several times but held his own despite being tested time and time again.

Blake Austin - 7: A quiet first half but started running the ball more and became a threat.

Aidan Sezer - 7: Kicked very well all night. Gutting for him to fail a HIA which will see him miss the Grand Final.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 8: Leader of this pack and got through heaps of ugly work again in the middle. Outstanding.

Jarrod O'Connor - 9: Some Leeds Rhinos fans need to eat their words. A lot of criticism went Rohan Smith's way when he picked the youngster over Brad Dwyer. It's been one of the inspired calls a coach has made in recent history.

Matt Prior - 7: Defensively, his control was outstanding. Superb display from a man who has come in for criticism at times this year.

James Bentley - 10: No other mark would do him justice. Literally everywhere. Covered every single blade of grass to ensure his hometown club won the game. Scored two, saved two. An astonishing performance by a player who has enjoyed a stunning rise to the top under Rohan Smith.

Zane Tetevano - 7: Massive hit on Morgan Smithies that forced him to drop the ball first half. Big play at the time.

Cameron Smith - 8: Massive display again. Captained the side and guided them through rocky periods. Stood up defensively and subtle again on the ball.

Kruise Leeming - 7: Delivered energy in lumps in his burst on the field. Scruffy pass helped create the final try.

James Donaldson - 7: Another who got through endless work during his time on the field. Good work.

Sam Walters - 6: Short and sweet stint that was important if not so noticeable.

Bodene Thompson - 7: Helped stem Wigan's dominance in the middle when he came on. Underrated.
