Leeds Rhinos player ratings after inexplicable collapse at the hands of Salford Red Devils

Jack Walker - 7.5 : Best Leeds player. Superb try-saver on Burgess in the first half and with the ball produced a sublime assist for Handley's try and was a running threat all night.

Tom Briscoe - 5 : Really struggling. Back in his favoured wing position but not doing as much. Got burned for pace by Burgess on the try that swung the game.

Jack Broadbent - 5 : Made one good tackle on Lafai but was so shaky otherwise defensively. Beat numerous times by his opponent and out of position for the final try.

Liam Sutcliffe - 5 : Completely anonymous all game.

Ash Handley - 7 : The best outside back, again. Consistently good this year, you can't say that for many this year.

Blake Austin - 3.5 : Hooked shortly after a wild pass to touch and missing Lafai. So poor.

Aidan Sezer - 3.5 : Produce two good short kicks. Otherwise, did absolutely nothing and produced some shocking kicks, one when Leeds were down to 12, another that saw Atkin score to put Salford ahead.

Mikolaj Oledzki - 6 : Did OK and scored the first try of the game.

Kruise Leeming - 6 : Like many others, was loose defensively. Lively with the ball though and looked the most likely late in the game.

Zane Tetevano - 4: Sin binned for contact to the head. But was part of a collective effort in the middle that just wasn't good enough.

James Bentley - 4.5 : Too many penalties and 'six agains' where he was the guilty party. Plenty of effort.

Rhyse Martin - 4 : Defensively a mile off where he needs to be and gave away silly penalties.

Cameron Smith - 4 : Really poor first-half defensively. Better in the second half but not enough to help his team

Brad Dwyer - 5 : Came on late but didn't spark the game.

Alex Mellor - N/A : Not enough time to give a fair rating to.

Bodene Thompson - 4 : Couldn't keep up with the pace of the game. Sin binned for repeated fouling.

James Donaldson - 5 : Came with his usual energy but couldn't stop the rot down the middle.
