Leeds Rhinos won't be signing Wests Tigers half-back Luke Brooks. The 28-year-old is likely to sign a new two-year deal at the NRL club, despite reports in the Australian media linking him with a move to Super League.
Sources close to Rugby League Live have distanced themselves from those reports since rumours started to speculate on Brooks, with the Tigers launching a bid to keep their main man in western Sydney for the next two years.
It's thought that the Tigers have put on the table a $1 million offer to keep hold of Brooks, who is off-contract at the end of the season and one of the competition's highest-paid players.

The offer from the Tigers is no doubt down to the half-back's form in recent weeks, which helped steer the club to victories over Penrith Panthers, St George Illawarra Dragons, and North Queensland Cowboys.
That has promoted Tim Sheens, once the head coach of Hull KR in Super League, to tie down the player, with a move to Leeds off the cards.
Brooks has played over 200 games in the NRL, having debuted for the Tigers in the 2013 season. He has shown no desire to move over to England or the Super League competition.
Current Leeds half-back duo Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer are both off-contract at the end of the year, with the Rhinos set for some big retention and recruitment decisions in the next few months.
