Rohan Smith will be without James Bentley for Saturday's clash with Catalans Dragons. The Irish forward has been slapped with a one-match ban from Leeds' disappointing defeat to Castleford Tigers last Thursday.
Bentley's charge happened in the 35th minute for a late contact on the passer, and he has been found guilty by the Match Review Panel.
His charge reads - the defending player makes contact with an opponent after an opponent has released the ball in a vulnerable position which causes flexion to the head, neck or spinal column on an attacking player, which poses an unacceptable risk of injury to that player.

The Rhinos are also more than likely to be without Morgan Gannon to add to Smith's selection woes. The teenager is still not 100% after failing his HIA against Hull FC in round two. Kruise Leeming is also not available for selection as a Headingley exit looms closer, with two NRL clubs rumoured to be interested in bringing the former Rhinos captain to Australia.
Because Bentley filled in at dummy half when Jarrod O'Connor took a breather during the Castleford defeat, the substitute hooker role is expected to go to Corey Johnson. He, along with Leon Ruan and Liam Tindall, played for Bradford Bulls over the weekend in their Yorkshire derby win over Sheffield Eagles.
St Helens star Morgan Knowles has also copped a one-match ban. Joe Westerman, George Williams, Davy Litten and Shane Wright have picked up fines.
