Wakefield Trinity could be without one of their star players for next weekend's round-four trip to Leeds Rhinos. Going off the field with a knee complaint, Lewis Murphy didn't return as Trinity were defeated by Huddersfield 8-0.
That would be a boost to Leeds following their dramatic last-gasp win over world champions St Helens, with Rohan Smith's side aiming to get their Headingley account up and running after losing to Hull FC the previous week.
Wakefield coach Mark Applegarth, meanwhile, was unsure of the extent of Murphy's injury, but he expects him to miss the Leeds game.

“We don’t know, we’ll scan him,” he said after the game. “It was a contest in the air. I don’t think he’ll be available for next week.
"It’s something to do with his knee. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious.”
Leeds are also sweating on the fitness of hooker Kruise Leeming who took a knock in the win at Langtree Park. It is thought it could be a reoccurrence of the foot injury that kept him out for parts of last season.
Rohan Smith said: “He’s got a sore foot – he had a fracture in his foot last year and the sign is that it’s in a similar spot. We'll just have to see what the x-rays say.”
