A Leeds resident has spoke of his terror after armed police swooped on a home in the city in scenes "like something out of the movies."
Armed officers were caught on camera outside a home on Cardigan Road in the Hyde Park area of Leeds on Saturday. It is understood officers were at the scene at around 4pm.
One man, who did not want to be named, described the ordeal as "terrifying". He said: "It was like something out of the movies.

"There were at least four armed response cars and officers had their faces covered as they ran into the house. It was terrifying to watch."
The exact reason for the armed response on Saturday (July 2) afternoon is currently unknown. Leeds Live has contacted West Yorkshire Police for comment.
