Catalin Badoi, 38, from Morley, claims he goes to the car wash every week to wash his car and do his shopping but has hit out at the chain after his car got 'covered with scratches'.

He is hoping that Morrisons is able to resolve the issue but has warned others from going to the car wash following his experience. His Volkswagen Passatt been pictured with a number of deep scratches on the bodywork.

Speaking to LeedsLive Mr Badoi said: "I live in Morley, so I go to the Morrisons every week to shop and wash my car.

“Today I went there, normal thing, and I noticed scratches everywhere after I left.

“I went straight back to Morrisons, I had a word with the guy in the petrol station and ask him to go outside with me to have a look.

“He couldn’t come out, he gave me a form, I filled it in, he said someone should contact me, but I don’t think someone is going to answer.

“If people want to go there, I would advise them not to.

“I would have gone crazy if it was a new car, but it was still my car and I try to take care of it, now I have about 50 scratches, if it was just one I would go back, but it’s not.

When asked what he wants the supermarket to do about the damage, Mr Badoi said he hopes they will look at the car and fix the scratches.

Mr Badoi added: "Honestly, they can come look at the car, fix the scratches and everybody is happy, I am not asking for anything, I just don’t want to see the scratches.

“It’s not a very expensive car but it’s my personal car, I take care of them.”

A Morrisons spokesperson said: "We would like to encourage the customer to contact our customer service team so we can fully investigate the matter."
