Leeds is reportedly running out of pizza dough as the city's favourite restaurants fear having none left.
One Leeds restaurant has confirmed it is struggling to meet demand tonight (Tues) due to a yeast shortage. Our reporter, Jaimie Kay, has called three restaurants in the city centre to be told there is a dough shortage across the city and that eateries 'may have run out of dough by 6pm.'
Leeds Live understands Water Lane Boathouse and Pizza Fella in Leeds are two of the restaurants who are 'rapidly' running out of dough.

One Leeds resident, who was hoping to go out for pizza with friends, said: "We called three places to book and they say there is a dough shortage across the city and they are rapidly running out."
A spokesman for Water Lane Boathouse confirmed the shortage. He said: "It's yeast specifically, people can't get hold of any but it's not to worry because we will be able to get some tomorrow. We have near enough run out this evening. People can still order dough in, but it's just getting the ingredients to make it."
Pizza Fella could not confirm whether it was experiencing a similar issue.
