Leeds hour-by-hour weather forecast as heatwave continues into next week

Leeds' heatwave is likley to continue into next week as temperatures rise above 30 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, according to the Met Office, the weather will peak at around 31 degrees in Leeds at 5pm. This will then begin to drop overnight and as Sunday starts at 12am the temperature will be around 20 degrees.

Through the morning this will continue to drop, reaching 19 degrees at 1am, 18 degrees at 2am and 17 degrees at 7am. From this point on the temperature will once again begin to climb.

By 8am the temperature will be around 18 degrees, then 19 degrees at 9am. Afterwards the temperature will climb more rapidly.

At 10am it will be around 21 degrees before climbing to 23 degrees at 11am and 25 degrees at 12pm. The temperature will not yet have reached its peak and will continue to rise throughout the afternoon until 4pm when the temperature will reach 30 degrees and stay there until 7pm.

Overnight the temperature will fall and Monday will start the day off at 22 degrees at 10am, potentially rising to 28 degrees throughout the day. The Met Office said: "Early coastal cloud burning away then dry but cloudy at times during the morning. Cloudy into the afternoon with isolated heavy and thundery showers possible. Very warm inland. Maximum temperature 31 °C."

Monday may experience thunderstorms as well.
