The Easter holidays are finally here and with that, and the extra-long Bank Holiday weekends, comes some ranges to our supermarkets usual opening times. So if you have plans to stock up for your Easter feast, or get your hands on some treats this is worth taking note of.
As with all big holidays in the UK and bank holidays customers will have to be prepared so they don't get caught out by closures and changes in opening times - and you can spend time with your friends and family like you want to.
Times like Easter and Christmas bring in rules for supermarkets on how long they can open for. Smaller shops are usually less affected but major retail giants often have to alter their hours over these periods.
Good Friday falls on April 7 this year with Easter Monday on April 10 so many of the big retail giants will be changing their hours over the long Easter weekend to accommodate the two bank holidays.
Hundreds of major supermarkets will shut the doors on Easter Sunday but will be open on varying time scales throughout Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.
Below we have a look at all the major UK supermarkets and opening times over the Easter weekend.
Aldi
