Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) was likened to "hell" by dismayed passengers on Saturday morning as some waited for more than 90 minutes to get through security.
Jet setters travelling from the airport in Yeadon continue to be met with long delays outside the terminal with the travel industry struggling to come to terms with huge demand for foreign holidays. Writing about their experience at LBA this morning, @alice_totty said: "Leeds Bradford Airport is hell this morning.
"Been here 1 hour and 40 minutes and we're not even anywhere near security yet." @slatermaker1 said the queue at the airport was "toxic" at 5.27am.

But holidaymakers set to travel from the airport this afternoon said the queues have now subsided. Alongside a photo of a much quieter looking airport, @BAtwentyeight said: "Security queue at Leeds Bradford Airport at 10.15 this morning, through in 5mins with fast track. Feeling slightly smug for booking an afternoon flight. No queues at the bar either!"
