Leeds Beer Festival 2019 promises a giant tap takeover, live music and dozens of great beers

Plans have been unveiled for the 2019 Leeds Beer Festival, which will be held in the city centre once more.

The 2018 event marked a return to the centre of Leeds, when the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) festival was hosted at the Leeds Beckett University campus on Woodhouse Lane, and this year promises to even bigger and better, with dozens of great beers on offer.

Expect brews from some of the finest breweries in Yorkshire, as well as plenty of cider and perry for those with a sweeter tooth, when the CAMRA event returns to Leeds for a giant tap takeover from Thursday, June 6 to Saturday, June 8.

And if you're planning on taking a mate who isn't overly keen on beer, there'll also be a wine bar and a gin bar.

There will be live music too, with performances from The Turnarounds and Sarah Widdup on Friday and Saturday.

How to get tickets

There are four separate sessions in total - one on Thursday afternoon, another on Thursday evening and two day sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are now available for sessions across the weekend, with CAMRA members getting a discount.
