A Leeds baby girl is fighting for her life after being born weeks premature.
Sadie MacMillan was born 13 weeks early on October 21 after doctors had to perform an emergency c-section on her mother Holly, 19. Sadie, who was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Leeds Hospital weighed just 970 grams at birth - about the same weight as dragon fruit.
Sadie is expected to remain in ICU for anywhere between eight to 13 weeks, and her father Lachlan believes the road ahead will be long. He said: "Holly is coping well with it all. She’s recovering well and is going from strength to strength, long recovery ahead though."

Lachlan, 20, who met Holly in Keighley says the entire ordeal terrified him. He said: "It’s been incredibly difficult I thought I was going to lose either Sadie or Holly."
And Lachlan and Holly are hoping Sadie, who they named after Holly's late mum, can make a full recovery. They said: "Baby Sadie decided she wanted to come out 13 weeks early and this had to happen via Emergency General Anaesthetic Caesarian Section.
"Holly, Sadie’s Mum is recovering well after surgery but it will be a long recovery for her. Sadie on the other hand. Is a very poorly baby because she is so early she only weighs 970 grams and is currently in Neonatal Intensive Care."
Lachlan and Sadie, who have a three-year-old child, are appealing for assistance on behalf of Sadie who needs special clothes and baby apparatus. On their GoFundMe page, they wrote: "The reason we have put up this Go Fund me is so that we can get Tiny Baby clothes, we need a breast pump, and preemie nappies etc.
"Sadie will be in the NICU for approx 8-13 weeks but will be a small baby for a long time. We weren’t expecting her so soon so we weren’t very prepared and now need all the help we can get. We are really appreciative of any support we can get."
