Lee Mack is married to his beautiful wife, Tara, the two found love before he got famous. However, The Not Going Out Star says no-one believes that they dated before he found fame.
The 52-year-old, said he has to put up with people believing that his other half Tara was attracted by his big name and fortune, rather than his personality.
Lee revealed that a fellow comedian's sister even asked if he had to do something heroic to save her life in order to convince her to go out with him, reports The Mirror.

The sister of Roisin Conaty, 41, had shared that she thought they had got together when Lee became famous, but he revealed they had met in his university days.
Lee said on a recent podcast: "We talked the other day with Roisin Conaty. Her sister met Tara and said 'I assume you two have been together after you became a comedian and a bit of money.'
"And I said 'no, no, we met before I ever was a comedian when we were at university.' And she looked aghast at why this woman would be with me.
"And do you know what she said? 'Did you save her life or something?'
"I thought that's an incredibly bold statement to make after five minutes of meeting someone."
Lee and Tara got married in 2005 and have three children Arlie, Louie and Millie. Lee first rose to fame by winning So You Think You're Funny at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in1995.
The comic has also starred on Have I Got News for You, Live at the Apollo and is a team captain on Would I Lie to You?
